In the great American tradition of rich old men marrying really young women, billionaire investor George Soros used his 82nd birthday celebration last night to announce his engagement to 40-year-old girlfriend Tamiko Bolton. As news spreads online, some have naturally questioned the businessman, who is perhaps best known for his link to England's 1992 Black Wednesday crisis, calling him a pervy old man blind to her gold-digging ways. However, to be fair, his last girlfriend, Adriana Ferreyr, was much younger. (She is now 29 and suing him for not buying her the apartment he allegedly promised). So in this case, maybe Bolton actually represents an older, wiser soul.
